Our Angel Baby

We are so sad and heartbroken, but Arthur, you are more than we could ever have imagined or wanted. We know you are healed and whole now. We love you so much, dear son.

Arthur went home to his Heavenly Father tonight peacefully in my arms with his Daddy holding his hand, just like he came into the world. Thank you all for praying for us and for him. God has given MUCH grace to us. Arthur has brought us much much joy and has changed our lives forever. Please continue to pray for us over the coming days, weeks and months ahead.

    Hi Kittery and Artie,

I am an old friend of Keri’s from college. I’m a pediatrician and couldn’t help but notice her sharing your blog post a couple months ago on Facebook. I have followed your family’s journey and sit here tonight with a full heart that there are such strong and amazing people like you all out there. I am in awe at the strength, poise, positivity and grace that you have had throughout this journey. Arthur’s life was short but so full of love and he is such a very lucky boy. Often times at my job we are unable (or find it too difficult) to truly understand what goes on when patients and families leave our office or the hospital. Your story has made me a better person and physician and I thank you, Artie and Arthur for that.

My husband and I wish you all the best and will be praying for you all.

    Best,
    Whitney and Rob Sherry

Artie and Kittery, I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that God’s grace covers you. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal, and his grace is sufficient in weakness. I marvel at the courage you guys displayed throughout this ordeal. Just know you have a son in the arms of Jesus, and a brother that is praying for your family.

I’m Ashley’ s sister in law. I can’t tell you how heartbroken I am for you all. I know God gave you a very special gift with Arthur. Your story is one that has been shared by many and has even helped other parents bring their children back to Christ. For nothing can explain Arthur’s life but the love and grace of God.

Your story has truly been a story of faith love and strength. Know that we are praying for you all. God bless!

Sending thoughts and prayers to your whole family. So happy that you were able to bring him home – if only for a little while. Now he is home forever with our Heavenly Father. I’m sure he was welcomed by his Grandfather Artie when he arrived. My God continue to bless you all as he has done on this journey he lead you on.

  13. Dear Kittery and Artie,
All of your friends at Oak Hall are sending you their prayers of peace and healing, and our thanks for sharing this journey with us. It has been a tremendous inspiration to us all, to witness your love and acceptance of His hand in your lives. I wrote to your mom this morning to express my conviction that while Arthur may have been incompatible with this life, he is certainly perfect for the next. We will all rejoice in that. Much love from Gainesville. Libby Karow

Our hearts are broken with you. Sweet Arthur’s life was brief but not a moment shorter than our Lord intended. Not many people, with many years, have the impact that Arthur has had in a few short hours. The Lord has been greatly magnified in your lives as well. We are praying our Father will continue to give you much comfort and strength. We love you. Pastor Gary and Sherry

The Lord has brought you to my mind so often and most especially these last few days to pray, I know He will continue to do so. I will lift you up to our God who is our Love, Comfort and Peace. He loves you so very much.

Thank you for sharing your hearts with the rest of the world. Arthur has been made whole and rests with the Lord. I am so grateful you were given the time you were to get to hold and love on your little one. God blessed you with that time and has used you as a witness to his love and graciousness. You will never be the same and your family will never be the same, but the joy that came to us all through this little child near Christmas time shows that his life was not in vain. He had a job to do – to pass on the love of Christ and our Heavenly Father, and he did it exceptionally well. God rest and keep you all in the days, months, and years ahead.

Kittery and Artie – My heart breaks for you, but I rejoice for Arthur. He’s in the presence of God. We can only imagine the magnificence, but he’s seeing it first hand. I rejoice that you got time with him – unexpected, wonderful, precious time.

I have a friend who passed away several years ago from cancer. She was a foster mom to nearly 200 infants while they awaited forever homes. I don’t know how heaven works, but I like to think that now she’s a foster mom in heaven to the children who are awaiting the reunion with their own parents.

Thank you so much for sharing Arthur’s story. You have touched so many by doing so with such honesty, emotion and most of all, such amazing faith.

While I don’t know you personally (I’m a friend of Stacy and Bruce), I am your sister in Christ, and I love you all as family.

My prayers and thoughts are with you. May the grace of God comfort you and bring peace to you at this time.
