Adele picked the color balloon this month, and in typical little girl fashion, she chose the purple. If you were here, Arthur, I would bet she’d be trying to put bows or headbands on your head and would cover you in stuffed animals and blankets.
4 months. It doesn’t seem so long ago, yet it feels like it’s been a long time. Regardless of how weirdly time has passed, there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. There was a lot to be happy about this month – your sister turned 2 and we had a fun time celebrating her; I also got to hear your new sibling’s heartbeat. I was thankful to hear the signs of life growing inside of me once again, but I was also reminded of the sounds that became so precious to me while carrying you. Even in the best times, you are always near to my heart, my son. Happy 4 months in heaven, Arthur!
Pregnancy Update & Prayer
At my prenatal appointment last week, my midwife was able to find a heartbeat with the doppler – what a good thing to hear! We won’t get to see in detail until the anatomy scan in June, but there is a possibility they might do a quick check at my next appointment to see if there is a cranium they can detect (a full round head). My blood work revealed that my thyroid levels are slightly lower than the normal range they like to see them in – they will be monitoring that over the next few weeks to see if anything changes. I was told it was nothing to worry about at this point, but please pray that the levels would return to normal and the baby would not be affected by it.
Thank you all for being a part of this story and upholding us in prayer.
